Little ones grow quickly. We want the pieces you love to keep going, so we now offer a Buy-Back Program for selected Velours Vintage items. When your child outgrows an eligible piece, you can return it for store credit to use on something new.

  • 1. Submit a Return Request

    Send us your order number and two quick photos of the item’s current condition.

  • 2. Receive Approval

    If your item meets our Buy-Back criteria, we’ll confirm the credit amount and provide return instructions.

  • 3. Return + Receive Store Credit

    Once your item arrives and is inspected, your store credit is issued as a gift card to use on future purchases.

Eligible

Only selected pieces are eligible for Buy-Back. To ensure sustainability and fair resale value, your item must:

• Have been originally purchased from Velours Vintage

• Be in clean, wearable condition with no major stains or holes

• Have an original purchase price of 25 AUD or more

• Be a mid-range or premium item such as:

– overalls

– denim

– jackets and windbreakers

– sweaters and hoodies

– button-ups

– branded tees (OshKosh, Nike, Adidas, Harley, Carhartt, YSL, etc.)

– rare or special vintage pieces

Not Eligible

The following are not part of the Buy-Back Program:

• Items originally priced under 25 AUD

• Basics (light tees, shorts, singlets)

• Marked-down or sale items

• Items not purchased through our store

• Items with damage or heavy wear

Credit is based on the original purchase price of the item:

All approved items receive 55% store credit of their original purchase price.

Premium archive pieces receive 60% store credit.

Store credit is issued as a digital gift card and never expires

Items must arrive:

• freshly washed

• free of major stains, tears, or damage

• true to the photos submitted in the request

If an item arrives significantly different from the submitted photos, the credit amount may be adjusted or declined.

You may return the item using your preferred postage method.

Alternatively, we can provide a prepaid return label, with the postage cost deducted from your final credit amount.

• any details on minor wear
